Automobili Lamborghini ended 2021 with an extraordinary record of 8,405 vehicles delivered worldwide, making it the company's best year ever. Global sales rose 13 percent in 2020, with continued success of the Urus super SUV with 5,021 deliveries. Sales of the company's next best-selling model, the V10-powered Huracan, rose strongly to 2,586, helped by a strong Huracan STO. In addition, 798 Aventadors were delivered worldwide. Three new products are launched in 2021. There's the mention of the Huracan STO, a road-legal model inspired by the Huracan Super Trofeo EVO and GT3 EVO race cars, and the final series of Aventador models, the Aventador Ultimae and Countach LPI 800-4, an unorthodox icon with groundbreaking of design and technology to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Countach. The company also expects a strong 2022, thanks to a large order mix that already covers nearly all of the production planned for 2022. Lamborghini's strategic plan for the year ahead includes four new products to be launched over the next 12 months.
